A conscious aware youth !!! It's so wonderful to see how all of these things are just second nature to our kids. My daughter, Julia points out how disgusting it is to see someone litter. To her it is one of the greatest crimes - I agree. She is so aware that we have a used sofa taking up our garage. It has passed through my in-laws and now us - broken and well used. I tried to give it away - to anyone - even the local community groups won't take it because it is in such bad condition. I finally said, "off to the dump" - only to be lectured by an 8 year old about how that will just pile up in the landfill and how terrible that is. So, yes, it is still in out garage. ugh !! I wouldn't have our kids think any other way. They will be the generation to save our planet.

Thank you so much Zoe for this. It really means a lot to me. It moves me and touches me to be able to be a part of it all but it touches me even more, and brings tears to my eyes when it touches others, wanting to make a difference. I think that's what it's all about and that's how we change the world. Cheers!

And just think of how these little things are empowering our children to see that they can be the change that there needs to be in the world. I love no trash Tuesday lunches!
