i couldn’t do it.  i just couldn’t.  there were too many awesome entries and travel is my soft spot – i love, love travel.  so i turned to ms. lisa h., the first give-away winner (remember “not-so-plain-jane?”).  lisa has been a faithful follower of my blog (thank you lisa!) and it just seemed right, so i asked lisa to be the judge.  lisa lives in michigan  – here’s a bit of background on our guest judge:

I grew up at the beach with my own “three sisters” in Manasquan, NJ and live today with my husband, three kids, assorted pets and friends in Plymouth, Michigan.  I am a graphic designer, art teacher and mother of two wonderfully-witty teenage boys and one very-pink and girlie kindergartener, Katie.  Currently…..I am trying to get up the nerve to wear this soft blue vintage silk flower pin that I bought to infuse my beautifully classic (not frumpy, but not so funky either) wardrobe with some actual style. I think I just need to pin it on and go.  Wish me luck.

It was hard to decide with all of the landmarks, languages and cultural imagery whirling around my little head, but I felt the Irish magic when I read Jen Lucero’s entry.  You are not only drawn to Ireland, but your fellow Irishmen are drawn to you. Truly your other culture!
