a birthday party…

it was my uncle’s birthday and we went to his party – the girls were so excited. they love a good party! i asked my aunt what we could bring and she said “just have the girls make him something.” so they did. jette made a pretty vase with bright flowers and decorated it with gingham heart ornaments. matching, vibrant, funky = jette. elle picked delicate little daisies and taped them to the inside of a plastic halloween cup and wrapped up a few left-over girl scout samoas and a valentine’s day lollipop. selfless, edible, thoughtful = elle. britt stole her sister’s valentine’s day candy heart and smuggled it out of the house in her princess dress and regifted it to my uncle. inventive, smart, funny = britt.
