Some Things You Should Know About Zoe:


1. i'm a regular mom - i have three daughters, the "three sisters." they are 9, 6 & 3 and each so different. they keep me really busy!
2. my husband is hilariously-funny and a really good dancer. he can break dance like no other.
3. i live just north of san diego, california in a funky little beach town.

6. i always wear my hair in a ponytail. even my kids think i look "weird" when i wear my hair down.
7. i'm a well disguised "type-a" person. you would never know it just looking at me.
8. if i had to wear the same thing every day, i would wear my jean's, my green army jacket and my flip flops. and of course, a ton of jewelry.
9. i am a music freak and am constantly searching for new artists. my favorite musician to stamp jewelry to is jack white.
10. i have a personal vendetta against cancer - i've had it twice and lost my amazing mom to cancer when she was only 56. ironically, these experiences have changed the course of my life.

sick day…

today was a sick day.  we all had sore throats and since we had been exposed to strep, thought it best to stay home and pay a visit to the doc.  going to the doc with three kids is really, really fun!  anyway, we’re all OK – just a viral throat thing, nothing more.  but it was a good excuse to stay home.  of course i had a list as long as my arm of things to do – but instead we made OJ popsicles and had my version of chicken noodle soup: capellini, olive oil, basil, garlic, fresh mozzarella (“cheese balls” according to the girls), parmesan and fresh ground pepper.  comfort food to the max!

    That looks like my kind of comfort food and something that Giada D’Laurentiis might whip up. Do you ever watch “Everyday Italian” on the Food Network? Anyway, if you have to be sick, how fun to have lots of cute company. :)

    I like to make mine watch my old favorites like Escape to Witch Mountain or Pete’s Dragon with me, snuggled on the couch in pajamas with a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a box of tissues, while simultaneously fighting for adequate blanket coverage and elbow room :) Nothing better than waking up to the end credits with your little babies snuggled up beside you, knowing that when they wake up they will feel a little better.

    Yes, I always vowed that if I had fraternal twins I would have to name them Tony and Tia! But I didn’t (have twins that is..)
