what a day!

today was perfect!  it was truly the best birthday i’ve had.  i was overwhelmed with everyone’s thoughtfulness….deeply touched.  in fact, even the people working at the DMV were great!  a big smile, a “happy birthday” and i was out of there in ten minutes.  it was truly a wonderful day.  i am stuffed to the max with chocolate, elizabethan cupcakes and breakfast/brunch/dinner.  and, i have no doubt that our local trader joe’s is wondering why they have had a run on chocolate truffle bars.  if it feels this good to be 41…i can’t WAIT until 42!
