brizzle

Apr 3

i love my brizzle.  we have lots of fun with her name – brittsy, britt-britt, baby and brizzle.  i can’t remember the last time we actually called her britt.  she is not a brittney, just a britt.  she will be three next saturday (yes!  another aries).  she is becoming very opinionated on what she wears and getting her ready in the morning borders on a nightmare.  then, she changes her clothes about five times a day dumping all of the contents of her drawers on the ground.  she is a little cyclone.  luckily she is charming because she gets away with it all.  or maybe that’s the case with all babies in the family.  every morning she jumps into bed with us and strokes my face with her little hand and puts her nose on my nose.  i love it!  i’ll be so sad when she gets big.  or maybe she will always be my baby.

I think the baby is always the baby. I was the baby in my family and even my sister still calls me the baby even though I do all of the planning and decisions for events in the family. Lauren is my baby and I hope she stays that way too! Until my sister’s twins she was the youngest amongst all of the second cousins and they still call her “baby Nauren” – I love that they always think of her and refer to her as the baby. Since we aren’t having more children she will have to always be the baby.

I know exactly what you mean. I think she will always be the baby no matter how big she gets. I wonder if I’ll feel the same about RyRy when he’s actually bigger than his sisters…I’m thinking most likely :-)

she insisted on wearing those leprechaun socks! they belong to elle and the heel goes all the way up the back of her leg. she said “it’s patrick’s day! i need green.” this was yesterday.

Ohhhh Zoe…what beautiful pics! I can totally relate with you in so many ways! I dread the mornings when I have plans because I am wondering what outfit Shawniece is going to fight me on today! I finally have learned to just let her be and I just add a few things to help make it look a little trendy!! And the dressing five times a day is driving me crazy! Again…just let it be and I keep telling myself the phase will be over soon and I can finally clean her room and have it organized again! Love your stories…I always look forward to reading your blogs on my free time. XOXO
