happy father’s day….

today we had a great day! of course we are missing jette (3 more days!) but we relaxed and pampered niels. we made a pilgrimage to the cuban bakery, azucar (my obsession du jour) and had an amazing cuban sandwich. pork and pickles – yum! who would have thunk that’s such a heavenly combo? and then finished off our meal with an assortment of yummy pastries. we dragged niels into a few funky antique shops that surround azucar and looked at all of the interesting things that people sell. then we headed home for couch time and then off to niels’ basketball game and elle’s skateboarding lessons. now we’re prepping for true blood – we’re armed with our ben & jerry’s creme brulee. what a great day! happy father’s day to my soul mate, the love of my life, my funky cold medina….

Sounds like a wonderful day Zoe! What season are you watching on True Blood? I LOVE it and am so excited that season 2 comes out on Tuesday via Netflix!! We don’t get HBO so I have to wait for the dvd releases. I’ve been waiting for months for Netflix to get it…I was having Sookie & Bill Compton withdrawals

Lucky you! Can’t wait to see who/what Erik is all about. My husband and I will cruise through all the episodes in probably 2 days. I almost regret that it’s coming out as I know I will be staying up way too late watching it…every time an episode ends we both look at each other and say “just one more” and before we know it, it’s 1am and we’ve watched 5 shows! I’m also a Dexter addict!

I was feeling kinda low this morning, just tired form work and always feeling like I can’t catch up. As usual Zoe cheers me up when I’m down and hopefully I do the same for her when she needs a pep talk. Zoe ‘s has great taste in food and my Fathers day breakfast at Azucar was incredible. The rest of the day I got to enjoy a lazy Sunday. I love you Zoe.

yeah, i get the whole dexter thing too. I was house bound for a week and rented season 1 and 2. the 3rd disc was scratched and i was very frustrated (but just like a soap opera, i was able to figure out what happened by watching the fourth.) what a great series! thanks Zoe. i cancelled HBO when HBO cancelled Deadwood.

i am totally hooked on dexter too! on season three…season four comes out in august! yeah!

The bummer about not watching the show as it initially airs is that it gets spoiled…for Dexter, I already know what happens in the very last episode of season 3
That’s okay though, I got some therapy over it and I’m no longer bitter 
This is totally off the subject but was thinking some Cowboy Junkies might be kinda cool for the website…
