Some Things You Should Know About Zoe:


1. i'm a regular mom - i have three daughters, the "three sisters." they are 9, 6 & 3 and each so different. they keep me really busy!
2. my husband is hilariously-funny and a really good dancer. he can break dance like no other.
3. i live just north of san diego, california in a funky little beach town.

6. i always wear my hair in a ponytail. even my kids think i look "weird" when i wear my hair down.
7. i'm a well disguised "type-a" person. you would never know it just looking at me.
8. if i had to wear the same thing every day, i would wear my jean's, my green army jacket and my flip flops. and of course, a ton of jewelry.
9. i am a music freak and am constantly searching for new artists. my favorite musician to stamp jewelry to is jack white.
10. i have a personal vendetta against cancer - i've had it twice and lost my amazing mom to cancer when she was only 56. ironically, these experiences have changed the course of my life.

welcome back summer! it’s fair time!…

nothing screams “summer” like san diego county’s, del mar fair.  it arrives in june and kicks off the summer.   you either love the fair or hate the fair.  i personally love the fair – i love it for the colors, the noise, the excitement and of course, the scary food.  it’s dirty and expensive and yes, can be a bit depressing, but i still love it – it reminds me of my childhood and that makes me happy.  it reminds me that summer is here and it’s time to change the pace – relax and enjoy the simple pleasures.  niels and i took five kids to the fair.  we were wiped out when we got home.  but i was happy.  i love the fair!

    Zucchini weenie? A hotdog in a zucchini, fried? Only in California! Our art festival is in town this week with all of the fab food vendors – If they have that stuff, I will eat one choice selection and let you know how it is….I will be brave. Love the bunny Brit is on!

    I was going to tell you when we went we saw a photographer there shooting a couple with all the lights and midway in the background! what a fun idea!
    We came home with a little fishy too, my secret name for her “hundred bucks swimmy”!
