i have to admit it’s been nice to get through mother’s day. i’ve had so many ideas percolating around but no time to act on them. so i cranked through some designs over the past few weeks and am slowly adding to the site. the latest is the circus stacking hand stamped bangles! a fun combination of gold vermeil and sterling with a few personalized initial baubles dangling for some funky-fun. the inspiration? my collection of gold bangles that belonged to my mom. they are my favorite outfit accessory – a mismash of eleven gold bangles. of the circus stacking bangles are only $98…

i have always loved old coins. i think about all of the stories the coins could tell – passing from hand to hand to hand. so interesting. that’s why i love this necklace – the sunken treasure. the coin is a double sided replica of an ancient roman coin (it’s heavy!) and it’s accompanied by a hand stamped charm stamped with an extra large letter. a seafoam green stone cluster adds a dash of color. it’s fun and easy to wear…. ahoy, check out sunken treasure hand stamped necklace in the shop!

this week is “teacher appreciation week” at the girls’ school. they have all sorts of neat events planned to let the teachers know how much they are appreciated! i come from a long line of teachers – seems that almost everyone in my family is a teacher and so i hear often how difficult and challenging it is to teach with few resources. ahem, anyway – i love jette and elle’s teachers. they are both amazing! part of jette’s special treat is to bring in something “handmade” tomorrow for her teaher. yahoo – right up our alley. so jette helped me with a new design and i must say it’s my new favorite. i am wearing it layered with a diamond snake pendant i bought to match my ring! jette helped me make it and assemble it and it’s ready to give to her teacher tomorrow. i sure hope she likes it! meet “cory,” our latest hand stamped necklace now available in the three sister’s shop!

wondering where we have been? yes, it’s been awfully quiet around here. that’s what happens when FOUR out of five of your family members gets hit with the flu (on the same night!). it’s been rough around here but we’re crawling out of our hole… just in time to see the new flowers sprouting up in our bracelets sections in the shop. so take a peek at our new flower, hand stamped bracelets – these designs have been sold out for some time and we’ve refreshed a few and added some more. just in time for spring… it’s almost here!

have been meaning to make this design for a while… inspired by one of my favorite clients in arizona named sue, hence “arizona sioux.” i have made many, many necklaces for sue – feels like we know each other by now! i had attempted this design a few times and it frustrated me so i threw the practice tags in my junk drawer and never looked back. sue requested the necklace and of course i would make anything for her, so i tried again. it took me a while but i finally figured it out. it reminds me a bit of the rock star necklace – order it for your man but wear it with your boyfriend jeans and velvet blazer. thanks for the inspiration sue! you can view the hand stamped arizona sioux necklace in our store!

yes, a fun new design! i saw tim burton’s “alice in wonderland” with jette and of course was in awe. burton does an amazing job of making every, single thing in the movie interesting to look at – from the red queens “bulbous” head, johnny depp’s orange eyes to alice’s amazing gowns. i was in heaven – visual delight. jette held my hand the entire time. it was fun to have a bit of mother-daughter bonding time. i digress… anyway, i made this necklace and thought it was the perfect “alice” necklace. pretty, funky and visually stimulating. you can see the new alice hand stamped necklace here!

behind every design there is usually a story to the name. i like everything to have some special meaning, it makes life a bit more interesting. whether a funny little joke, something sentimental or a call out to a special person – i can’t resist myself when i name my designs. the newest gold hand stamped necklace is “rainy day” – named in honor of miss rainy. you probably remember rainy and her daughter from a few posts back – they are the mother/daughter team who take photos together every year. around the same time we did the photo shoot her sweetie contacted me for a custom design for rainy’s birthday – i’ve had to hold off posting it on the site because i didn’t want to blow her birthday surprise. i came up with this necklace – it reminds me of her…sparkly, sunshine and fun. you can find the rainy day hand stamped necklace in the shop. rainy is a special person, i think she shines through in her photos.
