Getting Ready for Santa…

we’re busy around here. cooking. eating. making gifts. eating. being jolly. and basically creating lots of holiday cheer.

it’s an oldie (seven years old!) but a goodie…. feeling a little sappy with our anniversary and all….
i just put this song on the lisa & zoe high school senior photography website – i am in love with it!
i am queen of list-making. little scraps of paper all over the place with misspelled things to do (i am a horrific “speller”). i am living under a pile of lists. my life is governed by lists. i have nightmares about lists. i’m not sure if they actually help my life or make it crazier. but if i don’t write it down, it just won’t happen – it’s a love/hate type of situation. so this is my process: i write it down on the closest piece of paper i can find (gum wrapper, ATM receipt, girls’ homework), shove it in my wallet/day-timer/pocket and hope for the best. some of my existing lists are three weeks old – eek! well today, i decided to conquer my lists. and guess what? it didn’t happen – in fact, i just created more lists based upon my existing lists. i ended up overwhelming myself – i am definitely chasing my tail. oh – but i did think of a fun new give-away while cooking dinner and i didn’t write it down. stay tuned. hope to post it tomorrow (this is a note to self).
best wishes, zoe
posted in the three sister's universe,Uncategorized | 6 comments | facebook fan pagei can’t decide what i love most about san diego – the beautiful sunshine or the mexican food. being from san diego, i was raised on good mexican food. there is nothing like it – el napolito salsa, anyone? yum. i think “what if i had to move? what would i miss more, the sun and surf or mexican food?” …i think mexican food might win. that’s how much i LURVE it. this evening – we picked up some yummy mexi at our local mexican hand-out and took it to the beach. the sun was going down and we ate the most delicious mexican food as we watched the sun set over the water. what a great combo – the two things i love the most about san diego all at once accompanied by my family. what’s your favorite kind of food? does anyone out there love mexican food as much as us? cheers!
i fell in love with this ring when i first saw it. i couldn’t really justify buying it on the spot – so i hemmed and hawed for a day and then went back. after all, i turned 40 this year – so i splurged and bought myself the diamond and turquoise confection. it’s huge and kind of tough to wear when i’m hammering or taking pix – in fact, it could double as a weapon. it’s HUGE. but i sure love it! so why am i posting it on the blog? well…because the lady i purchased it from sells beautiful, eastern indian vintage jewelry. i am in love with everything she sells. last time i saw her i bought a few trinkets that i’m going to incorporate into the three sisters designs. they are limited – but they are so, so gorgeous. very detailed and intricate. stay tuned – they will debut in the newsletter in january. have you signed up? don’t forget or you’ll miss out! sign up on the home page – www.threesistersjewelrydesign.com
